This past week has been an emotional roller coaster to say the least. The girls have been here all week and we are keeping a vigil. The neurologists and critical care Docs have released him which is a good sign I guess. We're waiting on Bill to get stronger so we can take him home, hopefully by Christmas. Thanks for your prayers and support as always. Holly

Update from Fleming Rd.
We are still in the hospital. Things are a bit better. He is no longer on the ventilator, he pulled it out himself on Tuesday morning. Had enough of that I guess. Luckily he does not need the breathing assistance. He has been talking to us a little and he seems to be aware of his surroundings and lucid. He is still very weak, has not really eaten since beginning chemo a week ago and is still rather sick to his stomach.

Hey Bill and Holly,
I just got home from Indy and read your Christmas letter and then come here to check on you. Damn, when it rains it pours cats and dogs. I've been keeping good thoughts for you guys since this all started and have had you on my mind many times.
It sure was great to see you out at Garvin Gate.
Margaret and I will continue to keep those healing vibes coming your way.
Peace,
Mike Suttles
Hey, guess you guys are probably critiquing my grammar about right now! See, that is what happens when you work in places like I do! Really it is probably a result of working in the hood at Jb all those years!
And speaking of Garvin Gate, Bill, you need to turn on some real good blues very loudly. That will improve the spirits and it heals what ails you!
Mike
Bill and Holly,
I'm Sandy Moore (Lyon) from the old neighborhood. My sister, Jackie ran across this bolg totally by accident and forwarded it to us.
I'm so, so sorry to hear about all of this! We wish you many blessings in the months to come. I know this cancer stuff is hard to deal with and runs you down both emotionally and physically!
My brother Bob is recovering from lung cancer but it is has now matastized in his brain.
Please know that our whole family is sending prayers your way (Jackie has emailed the whole family).
God Bless you and your whole family. You all are such a sweet and cute couple and deserve much happiness. Bill, you are a fighter...with God's help you will survive this!
